Downtime Caused by Test Security Attack
In pursuit to partake in our bounty program, a third-party security researcher explored and successfully exploited a denial of service vulnerability in our image processing subsystem, which led to short downtime of the entire TaxDome service. The system has been immediately recovered by our SRE team. Our dev team is already working on permanently fixing the issue. Total downtime was 10 minutes. User data was not affected in any way by this attack.
